Technical issues that cannot be resolved by the support desk are transferred to our department. Our team of system specialists, is responsible to resolve these technical issues and try to offer permanent solutions or, at least a workaround. Furthermore we try to reproduce these issues and initiate a change to the application/system to get them out of the system. In addition, each of us is responsible for certain domains (performance, network, vpn etc) in which we try to detect trends and offer consistent solutions and training to both internal and external parties.
Some of my responsibilities: - Offer solutions to our internal customers regarding their issues or questions with our systems/applications - Work together with both internal and external parties to implement solutions - Create workarounds and procedures and assure proper communication with involved parties. - Offer IT-specific training to internal and external parties - Sensitize our clients by providing best practices for the usage of their system through different communication channels |
